Faith's Feet

Surely it is not a surprise to my readers that my new grand-daughter is the subject of my blog post again, well, her feet anyway. Don't you just love baby feet?

Perhaps it's my age, but I am totally obsessed with these precious, soft, tiny baby feet.  The older I get the faster life seems to pass by and it's important to me to capture the adorable body parts of babies.  The details of their tiny little hands, feet, fingers, toes, noses, and mouths are so hard to remember without a close up photo to look at over the years. Sometimes, I wish I could go back in time and take photos like this of my own children.

It's exciting to contemplate the places that these feet will take Faith during her lifetime, and the many miles that she will walk on them.  At the same time, it's a little sad to think about just how fast those miles are going to add up.  It won't be long before those feet will take her to kindergarten, middle school, high school graduation, college graduation, or down the aisle to her awaiting groom. Before we know it, those feet will take her down a hallway to a labor and delivery room, where she will give birth to the next generation of precious, soft, tiny baby feet.
